In September we started working on a interesting project for the leading Bulgarian IT company ScaleFocus. Throughout five Friday afternoons our graphic designer and illustrator Bogdana Peeva lead workshops in illustration, the result of which is the illustrated short story collection ‘Encounters’. All stories in the book are written by ScaleFocus employees and illustrated by their colleagues. With our help the participants in the workshops, some of who graphic designers, improved on their skills in illustration, practicing key points such as drawing in context, using limited colour palettes and understanding symbolism and semantics. The book was then completed with a layout and cover design by Bogdana.
