Bar ‘Petak’ (Friday) was awarded ‘Bar of the Year’ (GO FOOD AND DRINK AWARDS) in two consecutive editions and it’s well deserved. In the eve of their 10th birthday they once again reminded us what really sets the ‘Friday’ experience apart from any other clubbing place in Sofia. We did our part for the celebration via a brand new mural in the bar.

Upon the request of ‘Friday’ the mural spans across all walls of a tall corridor, including the ceiling and depicts fantastic scenes in a magical forest.

To accomplish the desired atmospheric effect the artwork incorporates mixed techniques including traditional painting with brushes and aerosol spray.

The creation of the magic corridor took 7 full days to complete and the final result is another proof that each space, regardless of (or sometimes precisely because of) its architectural specifications, can be turned into an original piece of art if the client has brave ideas or at least being open to such.
